Imba Pamoja

Performing in front of an audience is a vital aspect of learning for young musicians. It enables them to sing as an ensemble, follow a conductor and develop confidence as a performer. Students have been learning how to sing in harmony, sing songs from different cultures and to develop awareness of rhythm, pitch, tempo, dynamics and style. They combined the skills they had learned for 'Imba Pamoja' a music concert that took place on Wednesday 29th March.

The Early Childhood singers were clear and enthusiastic with some great dance moves! The Lower Primary Choir sang in tune and played their junk musical instruments rhythmically. The recorders sounded fantastic and all in time, not an easy feat. A special well done to the piano students who performed very well to a large audience for the first time. The Upper Primary Choir sang some tricky harmonies which couldn’t fail to move the audience. Overall, an inspiring performance!
